Question for largeorangefont

If you were any lower with your rims, would you rub? Cause I'm planning on getting rims the same size, but considering Tein spring, which are about 1/4 to 1/2 inch lower. Do you think it would be to much drop?

You will rub the outer part of the fender liner where the bumper meets the fender. If you look in there, you will see the raised area that I'm talking about.

It will rub over dips or bumps at speed, not on speedbumps or driveways.

You can cut that part of the fender liner, or add camber bolts to get a bit of negative camber so it will rub less. Also if you get stiffer struts it will rub less.

If you are looking at my garage pics, my car is 1/4 to 1/2 lower than that now. The springs have settled.

The springs I got are here:

Here is how the car sits now. The Tein's should be lower slightly lower than this based on their specifications.

thank you, I'll have to look at the pics you posted when I get home. I'm at school and they block photobucket for some stupid reason. edit: If I got 15x7's +40 offset, would I rub?

probabl not, but it does depend on your tire choice too.

I have the adjustable camber bolts in stock (and rear shim kits too) if anyone wants to go that route.

Cali Yaris, the one stop source for all your micro needs ;)

When I'm ready to do my suspension early next year, I'll hit you up!
