Question Alpine PDX vs JL HD

The numbers are pretty much the same between the two amplifier lines. I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on these due to the fact that these two lines seem identical, and also if anyone had heard any noticeable differences between the two.

Both lines are even stackable. Twins separated at birth I tell ya.

Class D amps are cheaper.

it depends what you want to do with it. For the price of a PDX5, i got a Presicion Power A600/4 (4 channels), 50wRMS@12v

One has balls, one doesn't.
One is affordable, one will cost you a leg.

Why not the classic JL slash series?
or old school powerhouses :D.

I have two 500/1 that are bloody awesome. I was just looking around and noticed these seemingly identical amplifiers.

Haha. Well if you got the cash, grab the HD's. I've heard nothing but good things about them.. (apart from the $). They're on a whole different level than the PDX's.. I mean, they better be. shoooot.
