Sedan Antenna
So i installed a new deck in my car that i bought from best buy here in canada but what i noticed is that the signal strenght for the antenna is not even half of what it used to be...... is there any way to add a fin to the roof of the car or a shorty antenna or anything like that
any help much appreciated!!! |

some decks are better than others... A few years back I replaced a $800 Kenwood with a $1500 Denon deck and the Denon was much worse for reception than the kenwood was.... go figure.

Make sure that the Antenna Power Source wire is being powered. The antenna has a built in amplifier that is powered by the HU.
It is the blue/white wire in terminal 8 of the D10 connector: Connect it to the power antenna output of your HU. |
