Factory-fit Bazooka Tube - FYI

I picked-up a Scion Sub that fits perfectly in the HB, and includes a toyota/scion wiring harness to make a factory-perfect fit.
I'm not sure about the exact wiring match for a factory HU, but I think it should work. I also added an 09 Scion Pioneer HU (base, not premium) and replaced my oem speakers, and my setup is fantastic, fits like factory, and sounds 10X better than the original. I wish it also had RCA-outs like the premium Scion unit, but you can buy these off Scion owners for $50 all day, and they work w/ ipod, sat radio, and play AAC files.

Here is the ebay # for the Scion Sub, 250399581869, and the model # is:SCION PART #PTS20-52040. It is a powered 8" made-by-bazooka sub, and includes wiring harness, mounting hardware, and a bunch of templates for XB and XA (XA is nearly identical to Yaris HB).

Mine fit perfect, sounds great, and was EASY to install if you know anything about stereos. All told, the new HU and Sub upgrade cost me $200, and four great 6.5" 2-ways w/ plug adapters and mounting rings from Crutchfield were $130. The hardest part is drilling-out the rivets and removing the rear trim panels carefully.

Here is the T1808 Scion HU I added, and can highly recommend, especially since its plug-n-play and factory fit.

Yup, I plan to change the LED's in the climate control, as I think I like the orange look for the stereo, and it works well with the white in the speedo. Looks kinda like Xmas in there right now. Thought about going all-white, but not sure how the radio would work in that scheme. Now I need to try to match the orange...

LOL, I'm not apologizing for that! -- great job, very clever application from the Scion side.

Now if I can just figure out a way to cover the "Scion" logo on the front with "Toyota"...

I bought one from an xB owner for my gf's car. It hits pretty hard for what it is.

I may want to look into one of those for a more factory look. How is the sound quality from it? I have amped components in the front/amped coaxials in the rear and just don't want worse sound quality than my current sony deck. Also I think that unit would look awesome with the trim pieces painted matte black to match and the LED's all changed to orange in the climate control/ gauge cluster.
