Ok... final question regarding how head unit will fit in my dash? Picture included

Now that I was informed that I will need a mount kit and wire harness, I have just one more question....

Looking at my dash, how will the head unit fit in, seeing that the vinyl covering also extends over the vents? Its like all one piece so it looks like it won't fit! Please help yet AGAIN! (I truly appreciate it)

Well I havent bought a head unit or anything yet... i am still doing all the research so I dont buy the wrong things. Well I dont even know anything about a harness thing that will fit gaps. I am getting so confused! All i thought i needed was a head unit, metra mount kit, and wiring harness.

Where would I get a trim set?

you might want to verify, but when you order the regular console trim kit it should come with the replacement piece that would be stock on a "regular" sedan. There was one in the rental that i had last week and it is a single piece as well.

search the forums...i have posted it close to 100 times...you need to go to your toyota dealer, order the dash trim from a non integrated headunit, give them aproximetly 70$ and wait a weak.

here is the thread with the pic of what you will get from your dealer

I took pics from the contest last night....I will need to get her permission to run them on the thread....

She came in second place....I think she got robbed cause the other gurl that won had a buttload of friends come with her to cheer, plus hers aren't real. I don't think that fake boobies should count...plus hers were kind of not right for spending the loot she did....if that were the case then people could buy a presidency! wait.....has that happened?
