Buying in the next few days, help!

Ok, so I have been looking at the Yaris and others and have decided the yaris is the one for me.
I have a price quote for a 5 door LB, S model, auto, power group, keyless entry, cruise, $16.850.00 + TTL
and a price on a 3 door LB, auto, power group, keyless entry, armrest, $14,671.00 + TTL.
Do these prices sound good, great or equal what others are paying?
Monday 20th or tuesday is my day to buy so input asap is greatly appreciated.

You're paying sticker + TTL

That's bad.

I'd say bare minimum you could take 1-2000 off each price, if not more. People are taking manual LBs new for a little over 12k. Offer them lower and be prepared to walk away and come back another day. Also, get quotes from multiple toyota dealerships, and get quotes for a fit and a versa - bring those in, and usually salesmen will drop the price more.

Also, you can do power windows and keyless entry for far less than they are charging you if you do it aftermarket or DIY(do it yourself). There is a DIY cruise control, and from what I read, it is easiest to do on the 09 models. So for what they are charging you 600 bucks or whatever for, you can do for well under 100. The S package is up to you, but f you could get a nicer(in my opinion) body kit for cheaper.

Here's the link to the DIY cruise control.

Thanks for the reply, I tried to do just what your saying, every dealer I have been to including the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa, Chevy Aveo guys all claim there's not that much mark up on these cars and only about 250-400 hold back. I just got a call this morning on a Yaris 5 door LB, auto, power group, keyless and cruise, $14,400.00 plus TTL, is this more like it?

That sounds much better to me. I'm getting a 5 door LB, auto, power for $14288, and that's without cruise or keyless entry. If Toyota is running 0% APR financing in your area like they are in New England then I think it's a great deal.

Say it's hard to buy at that price. If they could do better on the price, like $1500 less, you could manage it.
