someone on here keeps claiming its 17 or 18rms per channel... I would bet that the deck only puts out about 8-12 CLEAN watts of power per channel (when all channels are running). If you want to upgrade your speakers, you'll want to spend the extra $100-150(USD) to just buy a modest amp and cables to hook it up.
