That's minute compared to modifications I've seen other people do on here that get praised, like painting the trim of their dashboard bright neon colors like green and orange and purple.

How is that at all appealing and not tacky?

For example:

Cause the mod asked about his badges. He wasn't comparing it to those. Those aren't tacky. I'll save my judgement on those pictures above, till the owner asks for an opinion.

You should replace the Toyota badge with the TRD and Yaris badge with VVT-I.

At the end of the day..."to each his own". What really matters is whether the person doing the mod likes it. Who gives a sh1t what others think, right?

Also, it's easy to forget that Yaris World represents a tiny portion of the total Yaris population out there....and most "other" Yaris owners would shake their heads at ALL of us. Just yesterday my neighbor couldn't fathom why I was putting TRD springs on my car. Hell...he didn't even know what "TRD" was.

Face it....we're a bunch of weirdos.

I agree... and what a novel idea offering constructive criticism. I like both emblems, it just seems crowded right there.

And lol at the flag comment.

Um, suspension, engine parts, and even to an extent wheels, I'd agree with you.

But for emblems and cosmetic mods, I call huge The only reason to do cosmetic mods is so people will think you are cool. The "liking" of a cosmetic mod comes from the reactions of others - period. And obviously the OP cares what other people think, or he wouldn't have asked.

I didn't see you guys saying "to each his own" for this yaris... lol

Usually car companies spread those emblems around. They avoid sticking it all in one place. That being said, you are the master of your car and you can do whatever you want.
