Need help buying new tires

I'm going to be 100% honest and say I have never bought tires for a vehicle before and really have no idea what to look for. I'm 24 and have always had my parents do it before since I drove their vehicles, but when I bought my Yaris new in 2008 I knew I didn't have to worry about tires for awhile. It's been 2 years and we've put almost 32,000 miles on 3 of the tires (had a huge staple go through one a couple thousand miles ago so we had it replaced) and the tires appear to be getting fairly smooth. We drive a 2008 Yaris Sedan and I'm just wanting to get some advice before I go over to Discount Tire or someplace and check into getting 3 new tires.

We live in Florida so snow and all that stuff isn't much of a worry, but it does rain fairly often especially in the summer. Any advice is appreciated! We're looking to live in a city where most of our driving will be on city roads with occasional highway/interstate. Any advice is appreciated!

Check out TireRack online. They have customer surveys on all the tires they sell. So you can see who likes what. You dont even have to buy them from TR.

read the numbers off the tire size in the manual, and get the same OEM tire

I'd replace with 195/60/15's. These would be a good choice... and only $58 each shipped to your door.
