Will there be a 5-door Yaris in the U.S. anytime soon? Are there any plans for Toyota to bring this over?

Smile I say keep the discussion open:

I think that they should bring them to the US. It might compete with their Scions, but I think that it will have a differrent market. I for one didn't look twice at the Scion, but I would love the 5 door.

US has the scions for the 5drs need already, i dont think TOYOTA will bring the 5dr yaris here, if that case, Toyota just gonna kill their sales of Scions, specially th Xb thats why they brought the sedan instead of the 5dr hb

Did you mean especially the xA? The xB has a look and layout all its own.

On the number of threads--maybe once there will 100 Toyota will decide it should offer the car here.

nah not the xA, xA wasnt a big success, that's why they are gone for 2008, but the xb made a record, and TOYOTA is keeping the xB and going to bring the new xD to replace the xA, and i believe that the xD is going to be a 5dr hatch as well, so the answer to the question of Yaris 5-door in the U.S.??/ is NO

I think Toyota should offer a wagon based on the sedan body style.
