what is a middle and highest price on tints...USA only..

I dont want to get tricked with crappy tints..
I went to a shop where they had..well all the cars were tinted..130 plus tax for the tints on my yaris..is that a good price?

That's a good price. I'd pay max $180AUD where I am for 35% tints. Costs more for darker.

I got my windows with the VIN number on it..will it affect it?
So are you suggest that I tint as a first mod..lol i know its not really consider a mod but yea..

I got my HB tinted at a Swap Shop 20% all around (nothing at the windshield though) for $75. Not the best quality ever, but all in all, I'm happy with the results.

There's really only one place where I live that does a good enough job tinting and they want like $220 for the darkest 3M tint. Price includes the little strip on the windshield.

130 isnt bad. I payed 160 for a windshied stripe and all the windows with a one year warranty.

o ok..so again with the windows VIN numbering..will it effect it? the VIN is pretty hard to see with my clear windows..

Dealer wanted $229.99 ... got a quote from a local tint shop for $189 USD.

I paid 200. but that was for all windows And from a place that has been doing it for 18 plus years and a life time guarante..

I just got my tint done less than a week ago. 35% is the darkest you can go on driver and passanger in Texas. All the other windows you can go as dark as you want. I got 5% visible on the rest. You can't even see through it. Looks good with the black body color. I paid $180 with a 3yr warranty. It was an extra $20 for the 5%. As far as I've been told 3M tint is pretty shitty. Although everything else they make works pretty good.

Thats pretty true, I paid 125 for my Liftback, same as my eclipse and my rx7 - I wouldnt go more than 130.

My dad and i own a window tinting here in Georgia, so i know alot about quality and prices, believe me and RShatchback, you shouldn't pay for more than that.

Just depends on the quality I guess. If you can watch them do it and the procedure. Make sure they put the tint on the inside. People have no problem rippin you off.
