LOTEK Springs installed.

Decided to be a guinea pig and tried these ebay springs out.
Picked them up for $80 shipped to my door.

They claim to be a -1.9" drop front and rear. I have no idea what the spring rates are. Here is a before pic.

4x4 status. Then about a 45 minutes later here is the end result

Another one.

They are just as low as my tein s-techs were. The ride is comparable. Handling is way better then stock.

Happy !

You did 4 springs in 45 min.!

Will be interesting to see how well the powdercoat stands up.

The rears take 5 minutes, you don't even have to take off the wheels. 15 min per a corner in the front. I've done it many times already, plus the use air tools makes it wicked fast!

did you have to take out the plastic panel and the windshield wipers.. coz its kinna hard to get to that hex nut that requires hex keys...plus the bolt around it..

Offset box wrenches are the best inventions ever.

You must have mighty small hands!! I had to remove all the cowl pieces just to get enough room for using the 6mm allen wrench, then again all mine are T-handle! Now that I know the trick, it will be much easier next time, even still, it only took a few hours to change 2 struts/springs and 2 shocks/springs, didn't think that was too bad for an old man!!

It took me nearly 12 hours to do my suspension job. About 10 trips to the hardware store trying to find a dang wrench that would remove that nut on top of the front towers.

I was lucky - the nearby Crappy Tire had this wrench set in stock ))

Looks like the rear springs need about a 10mm spacer

Yeah i lost the rubber pieces a few installs ago. its just metal on metal. After riding around for a few days the ride is ok. Its not as nice as my tein springs were. The teins gave a smoother ride, these feel the road alot more.

I agree with Malibu. I really like the low you get in the rear but it looks awkward since the front doesnt go as low.
