Rear Camber on a 2010 Yaris Sedan!!!HELP
So I have a 2010 Sedan with 15x8 +25 rims with LoTek drop springs. I've rolled the fenders but when I hit a bump or have multiple people in the car it scrapes. I have Camber bolts on the front, but how do you camber the rear? I heard of shims but where do you put them exactly?

They go between the brake drum and the axle hub.

???
Between the brake drum and the hub would make for a clown car ride (Wobble, wobble, wobble). The spacers go between the axle beam and the hub. Last edited by Flipper_1938; 03-24-2014 at 08:42 AM. |

See this thread to better understand it. But in the OP's case you'd either have hub spacers that are tapered - skinnier on the top, or some place washers on the bottom two bolts.

realcamber.com makes -3 or -5 degree shims. He makes them for Scion XB/XD and Yaris/Prius. Just like Sugi said they install identically to the hub spacers in that link, that is the link I used to install mine as a guide. They are thinner on the top and thicker on the bottom. The Fab work is perfect and ive ran mine for about a 14 months or more without issue. The seller will include studs to use and provides even longer ones if you plan to run a hub spacer in addition. Remember these are fixed so chose your size wisely as they are very expensive for what you're getting. Also being that this is just a slash cut spacer you will be adding some negative effective offset so dont forget to account for that.

What are some good front/rear camber kits specifically front? All I see are camber kits that just come with bolts; is there more to it? Thanks.

Up front you only use the camber bolts, top hole only on each side maxes out at 1.5-2. Both holes on each side maxes out around 3ish IIRC. Rear your only options are to cut and weld your axle or shims.

yes the dude is a great craftsman and the shims have a toe correct built in, ive never aligned my car with the shims but my tire wear is really impressive for -6 degrees so I know my toe isnt bad
