Question about using 16" rims on Yaris
Hi - I'm thinking about buying a new 2014 Yaris.... currently I'm driving a Scion iQ. I love that car, but I hate the seats it has (very uncomfortable seats, back problems when driving the iQ). So I'm considering a lease swap and getting into a Yaris.
Here's my question: I have a set of brand new 16" alloy rims, but the width is 6.5 rather than the usual 7. I'm wondering if I could use these rims on a 2014 Yaris hatchback and if so, what size of all-season tires (in 16") would be advisable? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Blair |

The SE Yaris is on 16 with 195 50 16 tires ...not sure about offset think its like 50 but could be 45 ...195 works nice on 6.5 rim

16 x 6.5 will fit very well. Check the offset of the wheels. 195/50's are OEM fitment. More choices with 205/50's which are a great fitment.

I ran 205/50/16, great size and just a little sportier than stock.
Yokohama S Drives, Sumitomo and there are many other good brands to pick from in those sizes.

I ended up buying the Yaris!!! I got a 2014 hatchback 5-speed. I've had it for 2 weeks already and I absolutely LOVE IT! I just got the windows tinted yesterday.
