Insurance for Yaris?
Anyone able to get an insurance quote for the Yaris yet or is it still too early? If so, please list price/age. Thanks.

Have you tried any online sites?
I live in MA, so none will work for me. Stupid state regulated insurance. Esurance has been advertising heavily lately. |

Insurance
I checked esurance and progressive and they have yet to add Yaris as a possible vehicle choice to cover.

I am going through Dominion of Canada for my insurance. $119 a month, not too bad considering the TTC has made my driving history look like rap sheet from someone on America's Most Wanted. It took a little arguing to get the insurance under $150 a month.

I simply played on the fact that as a rail vehicle I fall outside of the highway traffic act (the laws governing roads). The insurance broker I used agreed and went to bat for me. My insurance should be down around the price that Scmingie managed to wrangle, but due to the 300km/day commute, they bumped it up a couple of classes. |

I went through PC Finanical Insurance here in Canada, and was originally quoted $1104 CDN annually (about $90-something/month) on our 3-dr 2006 Yaris (auto). But, since we got one of the first 'Yarii' (in Nov), the insurance co. hadn't yet decided on their Yaris rates and gave me a quote based on a 2005 Echo. When I called back to get them to fix that (pink cards said Echo on them), they told me Yaris insurance was actually cheaper, so I got a $29 refund. I'm a late 20's female with a perfect driving record (so far!) .
