Konig Hotswap wheels

I've been thinking I'm going to get 16's, but I really like these rims. I saw multiple pics in magazines of them with red bars instead of chrome ones. I see on option lists (not at Konig's site, other sites) that blue are available, but can't find any pics of them? Can someone help, post a pic if you got it? Opinions?

Konig's web site only shows the above, and this carbon fiber/polish combo...might look good on a black car, not blazing blue...

I'm going to be honest and say I do not like these wheels at all. Also they are going to show off the brakes big time. If you like them though and they fit your discriminating taste go for it.

Why do people catagorize comments with "I'm going to be honest", or, "honestly"? Shouldn't you be honest all the time?

I thought of how open they are. They do make a 15 inch version that wouldn't show the brakes that bad...and I think blue attachments instead of chrome would look really good with my blazing blue hatch..

Isnt just an allen key keeping them on there - around here, guys find it funny too steal your chrome valve stem caps..I can imagine they would have a field day swiping a couple of those while your car was parked at the mall or the movies - I dont think i'd get them unless there was some kind of locking key mechanism for the inserts - other than that, its cool you can change the style of your wheel when you get bored...

You asked for opinions. Here's mine: I hate them, and I think they would look like shit on my Yaris!

I like the concept, the spokes are interchangeable (hence the name hotswap), and you can paint them any color you want to better match your car... As for the looks, well that's really your choice

I was looking at these in red at one point. I dont think the spokes would last too long. They are plastic arent they?

I'm not sure. If so, I don't think they would last long either. Brake dust is a bitch. Plus, you would have to be really careful with the mounting screws/bolts or they would start to rust after a couple changes...

Hopefully I can track down some pics...

I am also not a fan of these wheels, but I am not the one that is buying them, it is you Mr. Attitude, and if that is your wheel choice, screw what everyone else thinks :)

Not to shabby. I like the black lip with the silver insert. I think someone makes a knock off that looks similar to this, but I cant remember who.

Sometimes little white lies are good. Not this time though! The look too open. I was going to go with these and opted to go with the Furthers. Check my garage.
