Yaris Insurance Rates

I touched on the topic in another thread, thank you very much.

Now I'd like some hard numbers however.

How much are you paying for your Yaris insurance? (please include your age).

I was paying $120/month for my Explorer at age 21 without accidents. Of course as basic and non-comprehensive as it can get.

Thanks for 50+ replies!

It's hard to say, since my wife and I get a multi-policy discount... but the amount listed on the policy is about $47/month for 50K/100K/50K coverage with 500/250 collision/comp deductibles. Our Hyundai Accent costs about 30% more to insure.

I'm 34, have a clean driving record, and live in an urban area. (Your ZIP code makes a significant difference.)

I wish that were true.

I was going to have to pay $135. for the Yaris as opposed to $97. a month for the Golf. Nationwide tried to explain to me that it is because Toyota parts are so much more expensive.

Anyway, on the Golf at that rate I had a $50. deductible for comp and $250. for collision. After, hitting them up for all the discounts I could including a long term customer discount I changed my comp to $250. and collision to $500. and that brought me down to $93. for the new Yaris.

BTW you need a new insurance company, because they just raped you with a watermelon..... VW parts are WAY more expensive than Toyota parts.... you need to get that watermelon out of your ass and get a new insurance company
