cross-wind hasn't bothered me much either. the only thing i would worry about is hydroplaning during a heavy storm or something. since the car is so light and sits really high for how short it is from nose to butt it tends to hydro' a little easier than some of the larger vehicles i've owned and driven. but, just stay cautious and drive responsibly and you should've nave any problems.

If I'm not too late posting this, really consider the all-weather package too, it gives you stronger starter, heater and a larger capacity washer resevoir. I heard somewhere it's standard on all cars sold above the Mason dixon line, but that was just watercooler talk...

I paid $11200 for the power package, 3 door Blazing Blue from Longo Toyota in El Monte,CA.
original price offered at $15400 but that day was Memorial Day super sale..

went in with a 2005 Honda Element, drove out of the dealer's lot with that Yaris..at 12.30am..

For me, I have no problems driving on the highway. Although sometimes, I have to remind myself that I have a smaller car so even though someone seems to be tailgating me or really close when i'm stopped, they're not really that close. And someone said something about things that break but none of my previous cars (all with power packages or it came standard) had an issue where the power windows/locks broke. Only thing breaking had to do with mechanical issues due to age.

ca car purchases

I have found that cars are cheaper in california than they are in the midwest.
I was looking for a 07 camry and found it 1500 cheaper out there
but didnt feel like driving it all the way back to illinois so i just
bought here. Even cars direct was cheaper if i was to buy
in california!

just a thought.
