Outlet Measurement for Exhaust Tip? - Toyota Yaris Forums

Does anyone know the outlet measurement on the stock liftback muffler? I'm looking to put an aftermarker, magnaflow tip on it, but I don't actually get it until MOnday, I know it's being impatient, but I'd like to order it asap. Thanks to any help!

it's not ugly just not for this car, its more a barracuda style tip.. and thats not universal, it requires welding and stuff

Here's a simple and affordable exhaust tip that fits the Yaris quite nicely:

PILOT MOTORSPORTS - BOLT-ON STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST TIP, ROLLED EDGE, RESONATED

2-3/4" Inlet, 3-1/2"OD
8" Length
Round (with minimal Slant) and Resonated
Fits 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" tailpipes
Mirror-polished rustproof T304 stainless steel throughout
Easy bolt-on installation direct to tailpipe
Resonated tip is fiberglass packed

JC Whitney sells these tips for $23.99 plus shipping

But, you can also find them at Walmart for about $14!

It's the perfect length for the Yaris. Center the OEM exhaust pipe inside the new tip. Fit the new tip flush against the exhaust pipe plate, then evenly tighten the 3 installation bolts. You'll never see the bolt-on application unless you get right under the car.

I like that tip but it's a bit large for the Yaris. I have a magnaflow oval tip and it looks great.

Yeah, I really thought it would be too large... I hate big round tips!

But after giving a few tips a try, it's actually the perfect size, and it looks very good.
