I'll try to find a pic, but I saw a dude in a VW that built a guage stalk in the center that looked really cool.

That is as unfathomable to me as all this talk about driving on snow and ice. Does the sand make it's way inside the car too? When we get equipment back from the Middle East, we're always amazed at where the sand can find its way.

I hope it doesn't affect the paint job like it did the Rolls Royce in Gumball Rally

No, it never gets inside the car unless you have your doors or windows open, but it only happens around twice a year. We are sand free here in Lebanon hehe. If you live somewhere in the gulf areas, now that's different.

Just covers the car in a layer of sand/dust, goes right off after a good wash.

I've been wondering that as well...since people keep telling me power washers ruin the paint etc. I use power washer all the time, car still as shiny as ever. After I wasH it that is.

And the passenger can hardly see it. It's a nice, clean look. I just used 3m molding tape, so I can move it if I really want to.

I did drill a hole on the backside of the speedo panel to run the wires down through.
