10" Type-R Install

I've had this in for about 2 months and have been lazy in posting some pics so here you go. 10" Alpine Type-R in a Custom box powered by an Alpine M500. Plenty of power but a nice clean response. So it doesn't move I have it monuted with L brackets through the trunk cover.

definitely dont need a new alt for something rated at 1000rms, just some self control. I admire tight little 10" systems like this. They're small and compact and respond quickly but I just cant live without the earth rumbling lows. How is it?

It's great and about 2.5X better then the 12" RE Audo sub I had. I have the bass set at 0 on the deck and the gain +.5 on the amp and that alone is plenty for me. I've done +6 on the deck once and it was hard to breathe.

About the Alt, with my other amp for my componets I'm running around 700rms but I would never put a Type X in a car of this size.

yea that's why I love small cars, a little goes a long way and a lot goes all the way. I unhooked my rear components recently and free up some watts there and like I expected there's no difference at all.

I always thought an Alpine 10" Type-R in a sealed box would be the PERFECT match in a Yaris Hatchback.

Nice pic!

I had an Alpine Type-R in my last car and I loved it. It packed a nice punch for a small sub, and my car was bigger than the Yaris, so I imagine it would be all you would want in a LB.
