Is anyone running the Kuhmo ecsta XS?

I've already done the searching and the only references to this tire are my own posts.

They are supposed to be "Falken killers" but that is Kuhmo's own marketing hype.

TIA

I just purchased them for my Yaris about a month ago, but I haven't switched to them yet (I'm riding on snows for now). However, I did have a set on my last car. I got about 35,000 miles on them before they needed to be replaced, and I thought they gripped the road nicely. I think you will be happy if you get them, especially for the price.

You live in socal....

You are are supercharged....

Go for a really sticky and proven tire!!!

Direzzas Star Spec

Azenis RT-615

Hankook Z212

or something in that category... you won't regret it...

Personally I would go with the Direzzas or Michelin PE2 Exaltos . From my experience with Kumhos , well they're OK until they get taxed , then they tend to get greasy .

yeah I should have looked that up.

The old Kumho MX was a decent tire. Not as good as the Direzza or Azenis but it lasted longer.

This new XS looks nice... but not many reviews yet.

Any ways... a tire in this category won't last long if you use it DD...
So get a proven tire... and if this new XS is really good you will be seing them a lot on the autox events... and the reviews will be out there.

I'm running Azenis now and is a blast!
