I don't think I have a virus. I think I made the mistake of downloading IE-8 through Yahoo. So, as I'm sitting here, a new IE window opens at randomly annoying times with service ads. I uninstalled Yahoo toolbar but they still pop-up. Should I download a different version of EI-8 and uninstall the Yahoo version?

what kind of service ads? lots of really underhanded, hard to remove spyware does just that, popup random windows telling you you have a virus, so you should install theit software, etc...

That's exactly what thes are. I ran a virus scan, it found something and got rid of it. Should I run it again?
