Otherwise, they do pretty good compared to OEM tires.
they definitely took a lot of breaking in and getting used to.. especially with how i drive.. but now.. they are good.. just took like a month to break in

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, appreciate the input.

I'm not planning on racing otherwise I might go with some of the more sticky tires; I'm moreso looking for something that I'll be able to get some decent longevity out of while making my drives around the area and the local mountains more fun.

Now I'm considering either the Yokohama S. Drives or the Dunlop Star Specs. The Dunlops look a bit pricier than Yokohama, if they aren't too big of an upgrade up from the Yokohama's I'll probly go w/ the S. Drives.

I'm riding a pair of 2½ year rundown stock tires (Potenza) & a pair of cheap Tigerpaw tires so whatever the choice its sure to be a big difference.

If your stock potenzas lasted 2.5 years, longevity isn't really an issue for your driving style, and any of the tires suggested here will make twisties more fun.

the sdrives have a threadwear of 300 and have very strong sidewalls.. i had a bolt go into the tread of my tire & it didnt flatten at all.. just heard the thumping.. and it was HUGEEEEEEEEE bolt! i was able to drive on it to the tire shop to be fixed.. and in which case, americas tire fixed it for free(which is one of the many awesome things they do along with ur tire purchase..)
