That's a nice car :) Is the trim up front supposed to be have a marbled texture or is that just my blind eyes and a hefty coating of dust on the repainted portions?

Well done! I did the same thing you did (exterior first, interior will have to wait, but I did wipe the dash ) and I still have a couple more coats of wax to put on next WE to finish the job. |

Hahaha! I hear ya! But don't worry, you didn't waste your time. The Yaris can use all the help it can get fighting the ocean air, etc. (I'm not too far from the ocean myself, I'm in the Bay Area, less than 15 miles away so I know exactly what you're talking about). By the way, what's that bar in the back of your car? That wouldn't be the sway bar, by any chance? Just curious. I was thinking about removing the back seats to see if the car feels lighter, since I don't really use them, but haven't done anything to the car yet. |

thats a rear strut bar. iv added a cross brace as well since these were taken. losing the seats takes off 100 pounds or so.. i sold mine since i didnt use them and they were the coveted 60/40 everyone wanted... car becomes kinda front heavy, have to brake differently for sureeee.. but i still love it and wont have it any other way

right on. I've been wondering what members are doing to their cars to improve performance as well as handling, but I'm giving myself a few months driving the car as is, try to make a bit of money, then we'll see about mods. Tanks for the response :)
