color fade?

well i bought a pair of eye lids from garm about a week ago
and my friend had some spray paint left from his yaris so i used it to spray paint my eye lids
but unfortunately after spray painting them i realized that it was darker then the shade in my car
im assuming its cuz i dont have a garage and since i've had the car for about a year now its color has faded from what it was before

should i just leave the eye lids out on the sun for a while and let it fade out?
or is there an other way?

note: i have a pacific blue metallic yaris, and so does my friend, which is why i used his spray

Its probably not the paint fading. Its just the paint not being a perfect match. Do a spray out
first to find out how many coats of paint you need to get a close enough match.

Paint cures to some degree. Wait about two weeks and see if comes closer. If not then it's not a perfect match.

If the lack of perfect match is bugging you, you can go to a pro shop for a good match, or make the lids black so they match with the grill.

Try expresspaints.com. That's where I get my paint from and the match is almost perfect.
