New Eurostyle wheels for my 09 Yaris

My new rims:
Borbet LS 17x7 ET38
Pirelli PZero Nero 205/40 ZR 17 84W

other mods: H&R springs + TRD rear sway bar

I wish i could afford OZ Superturismo but they are more expensive than the Borbets.

That looks really nice but the color and wheels made me think it was a Golf at first (which is a compliment)...

Wow, those wheels look fantastic! Just lower the car and it'll look at least ten times better. Great job!

It is already lowered with H&R springs. I can't go lower otherwise i can not visit my parents anymore. They got a big speed bump at their road.

It's fine with those 17's on there -- nice wheels.

Wow, that looks sweet. It does make the Yaris look more German though.

Thats not so easy over here. We got regulations for every part of our cars and nearly any modification has to be approved by an official technician. Especially when it comes to wheels, suspension, exhausts, engine, lights etc.

I got 5 pieces of paper with these wheels who tell me which tire i am allowed to drive on that car. 205/40 R17 is very close to the factory dimension 185/60 R15 but 205/45 is not and i am not allowed to mount these tires. I have to pay about 60$ just for a guy (technician) to look some minutes at my car who says: "OK" or "Not OK". Otherwise i get trouble with my insurance and the police. You see things are different in Germany.

Looks great. I have a lot of family in Germany and have heard a lot about the regulations.

wow, that's amazing. I applaud Germany for making it more difficult to get a license however; the tests and fees are much more rigorous than we have.

Very strange... considering the Toyota Yaris TS runs 205/45/17 as (OEM) original equipment. I would think you could have brought this to the attention of the powers that be to get this size approved.
