The first one I bought didn't work out so much. I'm a little better educated now, so wondering if anyone on here has one they can part with. Thanks!

They're asking $150;

I'm watchin' one on eBay that I will buy for $63 shipped if no-one on yarisworld has one they want to get rid of.

You could ask the seller for the serial number located at the base... I'm thinking we should sticky a list of which TB's come out OK and which don't.

I think a few of those numbers were posted a while ago. Time to do a search..

Found a serial number for the 1ZZ chip: 22030-0D031 5H17 01201 07G22

should of picked up mine!

there is only one that works and i cant remember what the number was

i sold mine to somebody over seas, maybe you can PM him and ask him what number it was

you prob will end up spending more then 80 to get one that works right

mine sold quick, i would PM the guy who bought mine to get the number and then look for one thats the same

its the only one that works but they usually go for a lot higher then 80, more around the 130 range

i dont know what the diff is but the ones that work are the ones that cost more so i dont know if there is some about that that makes them more but as you found out getting the wrong one doesnt work

phxdeamon had another one that he had to get the car towed home, it wouldnt even run!

i dont remember if he had the same one or if that was a diff number as well

I have one for you. The serial number won't tell you much -- it's whether protocol is followed on the swap/install or not.

It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
