Tokico Blues for sale $220
I have the Tokico blues I took off my car and putting them up for sale. I held on to them for a little while off the car with the intention of putting them back on eventually, but as of now atleast, I'll be keeping my car stock set up.
The shocks/struts have maybe around 8 or 9k of use on them, so definitely plenty of life left in them. I'm asking $220 plus shipping. Thanks |

Hey guys, havn't had much chance to hop on lately so sorry for the late replies. Well I guess I won't be selling these. Didn't mean to get anyones hopes up but after I put them up for sale, I opened the boxes they came in (when the mechanic I had remove them to put back on the stockers, he put them in the boxes and resealed them) and checked them out for further inspection. Everyone of them is in perfect condition, not even a chip off the pain but on one of the rear shocks, the threads are kind of flattened a bit. Not stripped, but a little bit flattened/worn. Not really sure what could have caused it to be like that considered when they were put on, the only nuts used were the ones that came with them.
At any rate, I'm sure they would be fine to use again but I don't feel comfortable selling something to someone that is a "good possibility" of working. I want it 100% no doubts. I just don't do business like that, selling someone something anything less than stellar working condition. My best choice now is to just get my dad to run it through the die at the shop and it'll be like brand spanking new. Maybe after that when I know for a fact that everything is exactly perfect, I'll be putting them back up on the market. |

If you can screw a nut onto them, they'll clean up and be fine.
There is nothing wrong at all with selling something that is not perfect with full disclosure.

maybe a Mod should close the thread, or even delete it.

I forgot all about this thread! If a mod would delete this thread, I'd appreciate it.

If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important. |
