Blacked out Yaris Sedan?

I'm buying a 2010 Yaris Sedan tomorrow, and I want to put some blacked out headlights and tail lights on this immediately. I was looking around the web and I saw a place that sells film which goes inside the headlight and taillight to smoke them so they appear to be black. I saw film covers for the 2010 Yaris on ebay for only 15 dollars.

My question is, what is the best and cost efficient way to do this? Do these films actually work? I'm curious to see what you all have done.

Thanks alot.

Just use some spray tint. It's much easier than the film.

Do you spray the interior or exterior? I know absolutely nothing about cosmetics to cars. For example, i've been driving a 1985 Crown Victoria for the last 2 years of my life.

interior.. you have to bake the headlights to loosen the glue and then take them apart

Oh yeah I heard that before. Is it something anybody can do, or does it have to be professionally done? I don't want to mess up anything on it.

taking apart lights is easy. you can also spray the outside of the lights but it may not last as long.

Taking them apart is always the easy part. Is it easy to assemble? heck I think I will just buy the angel eyes. Hey Diplomatic I would like to see pics when you get it all done, sounds cool.

Just buy a precut tint and apply it to the outside. That way you can remove it later if you dont like. Dosnt require removal or the tail lights its about as simple as you can get.
