New Wheel/Tire Combo
I found a set of used 205/55/15 e37 Mille Miglia HT3's with Kumha Ecsta SPT on CL for $400. They are in awesome shape (seller quoted 3000 miles on the combo, I believe it). The HT3's come in at 35.6lbs vs 29.4 for the stock 15" steelies. These tires look FAT on a Yaris, I love it. The SPT's are noisier at low speeds but quieter at highway speeds than the stock Potenza's and the handling is much much better. It definitely needs better shocks/springs to take some of the body roll out and drop it down so it doesn't look like an SUV. Even my wife noticed it sat up higher, entry/exit is now like a soft-roader, even if the tires are only marginally taller. I know you all like pictures, I will have them up tomorrow.
PS: Anyone think I can squeeze a hub spacer in (10-15mm)? |

I've got a similar setup...205/55/15 with a +39mm offset wheel and I love it. It's perfect with my TRD springs for every-day driving.
