Exhaust tip. Lame or looks?

Exhaust tip on a yaris? My dad said.. "This is your new car?" as I was installing my TRD Springs. He said "Your car has a swollen prostate" and points at the muffler.. Haha.. It is true.. funny shape muffler.. But then I realize that the exhaust exit is small and ugly.
I wanna keep my stock exhaust.. Tips do help sound some times. What do you guys think? Have pix?

I have an OEM tip from Thailand and it looks good. I'm sure you could pull it off with other brands.

It does help with the sound a little bit as well.

I went to Wally World to pick up one of those Pilot Motors resonated SS tips that forum members are talking about? My Walmarts don't carry it...

I went to Pep Boys and they carry the Pilot Motorsport tips as well as DC Sport tips that is making some tips for Pilot...

Came home with a Pilot Motorsports "Rectangular Slant Resonated Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip" Pilot Model PM-554. Although, that $12.00 WW price is awesome... $24 bucks aint too bad! Compared to other tips there, for the same amount or more, this tip is the most solid and quality made by far.

Can't wait to put it on...

Cheers!

Put the tip on. It does sound a bit better! Not too loud...
Looks really good! The installation was a breeze. The side two bolts tightened very firm. The top bolt seems to be stripped, but it is snug.

It's the Pilot Model PM-554 Retangular Slant Resonated. The PM-553 is the Square Slant Resonated.

Cheers!

Well, since you asked, pretty much lame. I don't think anyone outside this forum sees a car on the road and says to themselves, "hey that's an awesome exhaust tip! I am overcome with jealousy!!"

Also, to me, unless your gaining hp(dyno proven) it is the definition of rice. (I want my care to LOOK fast, who cares about performance)
