actually i sell 3000k to 10000k is the normal...12000k is bit more money....i can get higher temps as well as weird colours like green and red, but they're more expensive
right now i have H4 bixenons in 4300k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k, and 10000k, iirc

Don't be put-off by the relay's used for bixenon - they are super easy to install. No real wiring to do, just plug and play, other than one 12V connection to the battery.
I lost my Hi-beam indicator on the dash, but everything else is as-normal. Don't have DRL's so can't speak about that. When I had a xenon low/halogen high piggy-back setup, the indicators were normal, but the pattern on both hi and lo sucked ass, and the hi-beams looked awful when switching from HID to halogen. |

I don't like the idea of losing some of the dash notification icons (the high beam icon) just because the HIDs are installed. Seems like the HIDs aren't really meant to work properly with the car's dashboard alerts. Are there any other limitations when using fog lights in this system? Does this icon disappear too? Maybe someone has got all dash icons to function with HIDs, and could advise how? Clearly, we (at least I) don't know enough about the installation, or how the HIDs electronics work with the car's default wiring, if certain things are not functioning after the install. Just my take... I really would like to learn to make it all work together and not lose any dash symbols in the process. I spent so much effort getting everything Toyota factory-standard wiring when adding my aftermarket fogs and headlight stalk, what I would want to do similar for HIDs (even though there is no factory option for HIDs on this car).

I have a problem with my HID's. For the first 2 months since i've had them, they were working fine until now. They only come on when i have a normal headlight bulb plugged into the leftover/passenger side harness. I don't know why this is happening. I was thinking of using a wire with a 10k ohm 1/4watt resistor in the middle to plug into the to top hole on one end and the other to the right hole of the left over harness. This method i found on one of the forums is for to get the high beam light to show in the guage cluster. I'm hoping that this method would substitute the "normal headlight bulb" to get the HID's to be working as well.
If anybody has any solution and knows for a fact that any of the methods is not going to work, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! THANK YOU. |
