Unhappy Cannot figure out how to remove tail lights!

So I am trying to install hellastyle tail lights on my sedan and I tried and tried to remove the tail lights but I couldn't figure it out! I removed the two 10mm bolts and tried to pull em out but wouldnt happen! Is there anything I'm missing?

But I think the sedan and hatch are different.

If you look at page LI-123 of the lighting section of the service manual, for the sedan it says to remove the two nuts, pull the connector, and then slide the light assembly towards the rear to remove it. If it is hard to remove, the gasket may be sticking.

if you need pics let me know it has 3 bolts and a plastic clip holding to the sides of the taillights which you have to reuse for the aftermarket ones

They're hard to remove for the first time. Wiggle them from side to side while pulling back on them. They will come out eventually.

I did this today on my 3dr. Probably pretty similar. Yeah, two 10mm nuts for mine. Then there's a plastic clip. I just put my hand in the access hole (from the trunk) and pushed outward on the assembly while pulling from the outside with my other hand. Eventually it loosened up and then POP! Out it came..

Be patient. You'll get it!
