ADDED DUAL EXHAUST TAILPIPE EXTENSION
Salute Yaris Owners! I got tired of looking at my single rusty plain metal tailpipe, and decided to look for something COOL! I first ordered a dual exhaust tailpipe Extension off of Ebay which looked pretty neat--when it arrived (from China) it was DINKY!!! The 2 pipes could fit inside my rusty 2 incher! Fortunately the Ebay Seller offered to take it back and refund my money.I called around town, and surprisingly MIDAS MUFFLERS had the best selection of their product, and anything they didn't have in stock they could get it in by the next day! I ordered the Dual Exhaust Tailpipe Extension that you see in the pictures, and my out-the-door price was less than $100! ![]() The Entension had to be slighty tilted to the right side of the car, since there was a support post in the way of the left stack. However, Charles (the Manager) and I both thought it picked up the natural curve in the bumper and looked pretty cool. Please tell me what you think about the addition of this exhaust tailpipe extension. Sincerely, Doolittle

I think the tilt to the right side looks just fine.
![]() A lot of cars custom exhaust tips are like that. With the tips facing downward, you'll need to be careful on steep driveways so as not to scrape the bottoms. |

The slight tilt to the right seems fine. Is it possible to push the left tip back enough so that it lines up with the right tip? Also, they, imo, seem bit too big. Maybe lip kit will help make it look more proportional.

Tooter. yes the pipes ARE upside down! However, the Midas Man said that pointing "UP" would most likely harm my paint finish with all the heat pointed upwards to the trunk! I thought it smart to do.
Also, I WANTED the pipes BIG Lol! It's got people guessing "what I have under the Hood!" ![]() Thanks Guys! Doolittle |

Right side up is just fine as long as they clear the bumper.
Also, each pipe has a little drainage hole (for water) that is now pointing up at your bumper. ![]()

DTM tips only look good on certain cars to begin with, but being installed upside down and on an angle just puts the nail in the coffin.

I'm not feeling it.
I've had my exhaust sitting next to my bumper for years. It melted a little bit of it underneath but you can't see it.

Thanks for all the great POSTS guys! I've paid attention to each and every one! I can't decide whether to turn 'em over or leave 'em the same, but I'll let you know. I do want to protect the paint, and I've seen the pipes face both ways. However, you are correct in that they are upside down with the drainage holes pointed upwards!

Looks great the way it is. Looks like you have a Cummins under the hood.
I always found pipe tips that point up to look so dumb. |
