Anyone have pics of their car running 205/60/15s?

Thinking about some Sumitomo 205/16/15s for my car (tires are about shot), but I'm wanting to see what the wider tires look like on a Yaris first. From all I've read 205s shouldn't rub with stock suspension.

On what wheels? I can't remember what you are running. Almost anything will rub somewhere if the offset is wrong.

I ran 205/50R15's over the summer on Tokico blues and Tien s-techs without issues. I think 60's may be too tall to fit (24.7").

If it helps I run 205/50r15 RA1s on my stock height 09 with 42mm offset on 15x6.5" rims. No rubbing and I would say 42mm is about right for the offset. I'd say 50s are a little too short for stock height for looking pretty, but the width looks nice.

Cheers.

PS: I'd forgotten what my car looks like when it's clean....

A coworker runs 205/50R16 (24.1") on stock suspension without issues, but that's not quite what you're asking about, either.

Sumitomo makes a couple of GREAT tires; I run them on my Datsun Roadster and they are really grippy and reasonably priced.

Agreed, I've used Sumitomos on my Lancer Ralliart and after broken in well they were great tires.

Both sets Sumi's I've had sucked in rain.....when it was hot out they were excellent, though. But, I've only had two sets, and they were the cheapest ones I could find, so I guess it's I get what I pay for, lol. I'm also upset with my work, so pay no mind to me bashing who pays my bills :p

They wont even give me a discount on them......Lame. I guess it's because I work in the electric side of the corporation, though.

I was REALLY tempted by the Nankangs...but saw some pretty aweful reviews. I could have gotten a set of those in 205s for cheaper than I ended up getting my 195/55/15 Hankook Ventus V2 concepts.

Oh well, the Ventus are supposed to be really good and supposedly Hankooks have awesome treadlife.

I know you didn't ask about this exact size, but I am running 205/50/16s and they are perfect in terms of just inside the wheel well and fill it out perfectly. About to drop the car about 1.25" front and back and it will be perfect.

I can post a pick after I drop it if it will help you.
