R118 Mini wheels

Got a set off Cl for $100. Like new cond off a 2012 hardtop. and they weigh 1 lb less than stock steels.

15"

I may powder coat them gloss black, but I'll give them a little time first.

only by one pound, but every bit helps. If I were going 100% performance, I would have found some R81 12 lb'rs. But I thought the looks of this wheel was very Yaris like, sharing some of the round fat looks. I've noticed zero performance increase, but have noticed a high reduction in road noise. I guess the thick aluminum has a deadening effect(compared the thin steel).

Someone asked about the lack of stud with these wheels. With the ET lug nuts, I get 13.5 turns(20 mm) till tight.

As far as I know, they've had 15's from the start of the BMW Mini's.

Hey quick question those seats you got in your Yaris, did you just install the seats straight in or did you need the whole assembly to install it? I totally wanna give it a shot...I love the look of the seats.

They're all over on car-part.com, but you may have to order from more than one yard. I just scored a complete set for $80/tire, shipped. The white ones are normally cheaper than the silver/chrome ones, too.

Thank you Cranky, I am thinking about some rims and wanted to go with the R81s from mini cooper or Konig Heliums. I did not know how to find used rims until your post. New R81s cost 182 dollars each. I will have to make some calls around at car-part.com, thank you again.
