Drivers seat - wire sticking through cover on back.
I'll disengage lurk mode and ask a question
![]() On the back of the drivers seat there's a couple of wires have poked through about one third of the way up the back. They're running horizontally and they feel like strong spring wire like you'd find in a couch. They barely poke out, but they sure hurt if you stick your hand on them. What are they, I assume they're something to do with shape or support? Seat feels the same to me. How do I fix it? How do I even get the back of the seat covering off? Thanks muchly forum!

Take a look at my seat heater DIY for info on how to remove the seat fabric. (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32158).
the wires are part of the support structure for the seat, and a part probably snapped, which is why they are now sticking through. Once you get to them you will either need to snip the broken piece off, or bend in so it doesn't stick through.
