CD player ERROR 1 - Toyota Yaris Forums

Bought a 3D Liftback and CD plyer says error 1. Bought a cleaning kit but wouldn't read that and read error1 again, any ideas?

CD player is out but the radio still works fine.

The solution for me when mine did this was to replace it with an aftermarket head unit.

I have the same issue with my head unit and it' quite frustrating. I was thinking about replacing with the a aftermark with a 7 inch screen. How was is it to install a unit? Thanks.
