Base yaris styling or Yaris S styling

Back when I bought my 09' Liftback, Yaris S models were few and far between. For those who are familiar with the differences between the two know that the only real differences were front and rear chin spoilers, side mouldings and optional fog lights.

Well after some serious searching I finally got all the Toyota part numbers and I'm considering the purchases. It's as pricey as expected. So I'm posing the question to the group.

Would you spend $1,700+ on the parts?

What's driving my thinking on this is:
1. I've already committed the funding to replace/rebuild an entire powertrain from dealer and Ebay used parts.
2. I know I'll get dinged on resale due to two reported insurance accident repairs.
3. Finally the car was setup to be pulled behind our motor home when we travel which is a pricey expense to pay for again on a new replacement vehicle.

The car has 109k miles at this point, Its in near perfect running order, and I genuinely enjoy it as my commuter vehicle.

There are more than just exterior parts.

the S gets leather wrapped steering wheel, bucket seats, chrome interior door handle, and prior to 09, the HVAC console is piano black finish.

the base S also gets manual windows and side mirrors, while the LE gets power windows and power side mirrors. With the S you would need the power package or something.

The fully optioned base model from 09, which mine is, has most the items you mentioned in terms of the console. I'll need to double on the leather steering cover because it too was a dealer option on the base and the S model as I recall.

But you are throwing me off with "LE" because there was no LE option in US markets in in 08 or 09. I'm certain that LE replaced the S model in 10' or 11'.
