40mm Lowering Springs :D
Finally decided to buy the 40mm lowering springs that are produced locally here in SA. I took pictures of the whole install but unfortunately most of them got lost in Blackberry land :/
I am still busy with the front side because the allen key we used in the install snapped of in the tower screw annndd night came sooner than usual and I have no garage. So if all goes well and half my car hasn't been stolen by the morning I'll have some good footage of the after (sadly only 1 before picture wasn't corrupted) Evo Tuning Lowering Springs 1.jpg Before 2.jpg Had to remove everything to get to the broken allen key.. 3.jpg Allen Key twisted right off 4.jpg Front STOCK and Evo Tuning springs 5.jpg First strut ready for install tommorow :D 6.jpg |

I am done and the result was better than I expected! Amazing handling feel especially at speed and over bumps. No scraping or rubbing and obviously a much nicer fender gap (especially rear) :D
40mm makes a big difference especially when you wanna clean the roof I discovered ![]() Oslo Beach-20150712-02998.jpg **And I thought painting the calipers was hard** :P Oslo Beach-20150712-03001.jpg Oslo Beach-20150712-03003.jpg Loving it yo' Oslo Beach-20150712-03004.jpg Oslo Beach-20150712-03021.jpg Thanks to this amazing forum for inspiring me and teaching me everything I know so far |

Looks good
Just enough to look proper, but could be mistaken for stock. I dig that. |

Thanks guys! :D The stock look is what I'm after (which is why I removed my projectors and painted my headlights slightly). I bought them from a South African company called Evo-Tuning who are mainly involved with the Mitsubishi Lancer stuff. http://www.autostyle.co.za/ << Here's the distributor I bought them from. They got some other stuff for the Yaris as well but not much.
The tail-lights are a mix of Lamin-X and PlastiDip, so it seems dark but all the bits where the light shines through are just smoked tint so light output isn't really affected AND it's temporary if I ever want to remove it :) Last edited by MedMantle; 07-13-2015 at 02:47 PM. |

What it seems like **
Oslo Beach-20150713-03034.jpg With light shining directly on it Oslo Beach-20150713-03029.jpg With lights on!! Oslo Beach-20150713-03032.jpg It was an experiment because originally I just wanted a light tint to give the red the cherry red look
