Stone Guard Rust ?
I'm looking for a method to clean under a stone guard. When cleaning at a car wash, it gets clean but within a day or two it is immediately dirty to the point where it looks as if it's rusted, from what I can see I don't believe it's rusted but someone told me it is rusted. I'm hoping someone has a solution to clean it without visiting a car wash and to verify it isn't rusting ?

Is a bonnet guard the same as a bra? Curious that you say it's rusting because bras are made of leather, or faux leather.
Side note, this would have probably been better posted in the Wash/Wax section. |

What Americans called a car bra? Rusty looking on the car side or the outside?

Best bet would be just flush out with a high pressure water stream at coin-op car wash. You could try a micro-fibre cloth folded over a thin piece of flexible plastic and work it around under the shield as best you can.
