Well, my co-worker isn't a very loving Yaris owner so far.....

let's just say the outside of her car is so dirty....she decided to park in open parking lot instead of employee covered parking just because today was 56% chance of rain and she wanted a free car wash.

I'm feeling so bad for the poor thing, almost willing to clean it myself.

Seems this manual trans did not come stock with a tachometer and I can definatly shift just fine without it, but the roommate who borrows it can't. Seems the two places I have gone to see about getting a custom aftermarket one installed on it have refused to do the job because it would require a "pillar pd" side mount on the side panel of the front windshield area and with side curtain air bags, they are refusing to do this modification due to safety concerns. Silly as hell. Any ideas?
well that is nonsense, i just installed my tach last week. many people here have done it

I would like an idiots guide to installing a tach then....

maybe someone can link to to one on the DIY forums?

Also, what diameter is the one in your picture there....doesn't look as horribly bulky as I thought it would.

Thanks much.

Oh so now I have to put effort into this other than the installation..jeez....j/k

Anyways, 4" seems large but doesnt look bad in your pic...maybe the angle....hmm...you should take a further pic for me! ^_^ I trust your judgement tho. Are you still able to open the drivers compartment behind the wheel? Dunno what I'd do without my nicotine stash I keep there.
