Welcome to the forum, but please following the expected courtesies of any forum...which are SEARCH FIRST! You can find a lot of info on this with a simple search, to include information that usually only goes to dealerships.
Secondly, skip the hysteria. There has been a SINGLE occurrence where the heat from the seat belt tensioner was so extreme that it caused the insulation to catch fire. Yep,
ONE! But Toyota initiated a recall to be on the safe side.
By the way, back in the 70s I drove a Ford Pinto. People claimed those things would blow up if you looked at them wrong; but if mine didn't blow up, I seriously doubt any of them would. I had mine airborne and went offroading with it. I beat the snot out of that poor car and it never exploded on me.
