As for the NEED to cut your lawn, that is a want, and an extremely selfish one at that. 1 billion people in the world don't have adequate fresh water. The US is in a water shortage. The fact that you choose to be selfish, and then wake me up on a saturday morning to trim your decoration, is no different then someone playing a stereo.
My only point is that if you can hear it, but its not hurting you, maybe you need to grow a little thicker skin. If its truly causing you pain, or impeding on your happiness, then I can see your point, but neither of those are true if you can just "hear" it.

Ignant post of the week award above.
Dude... it doesn't matter if something YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER does or doesn't give you anguish.... its about the things that you DON'T HAVE CONTROL OVER.
Example... your neighbors barking dog @ 11PM, some random wannabe thug blasting dual 12's and 1000watts with all four windows rolled down.
So... Yeah... if you put your head close enough to a W7 to get bruises you prolly won't think its annoying.
Oh.. and for the record.... most people who go around broadcasting their music have crappy stereos... even if they can get loud.
I hate loud stereos, tho I've won a dozen or so sound competitions, and have worked on half a dozen cars that won sound competitions. I love bass, but hate when I'm forced to listen to other peoples bass... I also hate loud diesel trucks, motorcycles, and fart cannon mufflers on every 16-25 year old male jerk-off's car.
I say they all should be regulated.
