I'm gonna use the thread as a taxi and not open a new 1 xD

So a few days ago my car biting point was low ( pedal near the floor) and suddenly it started to get higher (pedal halfway). The biting point feels soft like it's slipping. I have a Luk clutch that i bought at amazon just in case since I bought the car used :/ Just for curiosity, are these signs that the clutch at some point is going to fail?
