The clock spring likely has two ribbon cables inside. You may have only snapped or dislodged one. I've seen a clock spring where the airbag worked but the rest of the buttons didnt. After pulling it apart I found one ribbon cable broken.

Also good point regarding the angle sensor. May need to be recalibrated.
