cold air/exhaust mods vs mpg
so i got thinking, would a cold air intake improve MPG by giving the engine less "work" to breath?, what about a header and a more free flowing cat or bigger pipes?
i know on old iron v8s you could truely gain MPG by tossing the iron manifolds for headers ditto for the crappy air cleaners im not looking for HP gains but but MPG gains, but i also know with more power often comes better efficiency has anyone ran the numbers on a CAI vs stock mpg numbers? or header/pipes? |
