Unknown rubber part found under driver's feet – 2005 Yaris
Hi everyone!
I’m new to the forum. We’ve been using a first-generation Toyota Yaris for some time now, and unfortunately, among the various problems I’ve been dealing with, another one has appeared. Every time I fix one thing, I seem to find two more problems. 🙂 I found the part shown in the photos under the driver’s feet. It seems to be some kind of bushing or grommet. It’s fairly flexible, and I have no idea where it came from. I tried to find where it might have fallen out from, but without any luck. Does anyone recognize this part and know where it is supposed to be located? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or help identifying it. The car is a 2005 first-generation Yaris, 1.0L with the 1SZ-FE engine and a manual transmission. Thanks in advance for any help! ![]()
