i would scrap their filter...I used one of their intakes on one of my last cars, a 05 cavalier with a 2.2l ecotec engine. i put the intake on when the car had just 3k miles. by 10k miles there was so much carbon build up in the engine it wouldnt start in the morning.

has weapon R improved their products? not only was the foam on the filter allowing tons of dirt to get into the engine, the intake hit the hood, the first time i power shifted, it put a nickel sized dent in the hood of my brand new car. i was not happy. also, it ran right next to the battery, i had to shield the battery terminals because the intake was grounding out and arc'ing to the positive battery terminal.

the welds look good on that and its out of the way of obstructions from what I can see, looks like maybe they fixed the quality of their products.
